Music Lab is a fun, hands-on music enrichment class for children ages 6–12. Instead of a traditional music lesson, students learn by exploring, creating, moving, experimenting, and solving musical challenges.
Each 30-minute class features rotating activities such as Boomwhacker play-alongs, piano, ukulele, guitar, xylophone and percussion exploration, music literacy games, rhythm challenges, movement activities, creative projects, and hands-on STEAM experiments.
Through music, students naturally develop pattern recognition, sequencing, listening, coordination, music literacy, creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration while exploring connections to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
Activities change throughout the program, so there's always something new to discover. No previous music experience is required.
